If you’re looking for some fun on the water, we have lots of that! Lac La Ronge is one of Saskatchewan’s largest bodies of water. The rivers that come in and out of Lac La Ronge make for the perfect one day to two week paddling trips.

Hit the trails in whatever way suits your needs. Lac La Ronge is home to over 50 kilometers of maintained trails that range from easy to difficult. Most of the trails in our extensive trail system are dedicated to human-powered activities only! So enjoy the beautiful boreal forest in all it’s glory by walking, biking, or running through the forest.

Winter Activities

Lac La Ronge isn’t just a summer destination. We have activities for anyone looking to explore the wilderness throughout all seasons of the year. The La Ronge Nordic Ski Club is an active ski group in La Ronge that helps to maintain our ski trails all winter long.

For those looking to walk or snowshoe during the winter, our regular hiking trails are often groomed just for that purpose! Some of the trails that aren’t designated as human-powered only also double as snowmobile trails.
